One of the highlights of the IGA Berlin 2017 is the Wolkenhain located on the Kienberg. The visitors' platform in the shape of a cloud rises up into the sky as the center of the IGA and allows a panoramic view up to the center of Berlin.
The bottom and side faces of the white coated steel construction are covered with more than hundred individual elements made of silicon-coated glass fibre. This fabric is particularly effective at night, when the structure is highlighted by diverse interior lighting.
